Tonight I got to hang out for a few minutes with one of the most important musical figures of my life: Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, Audioslave, etc. He was a totally great guy and awesome interview. The kind of person you have a conversation with rather than interrogate. Even before I officially started the interview we were b.s.ing about radio, downloading music, Seattle radio stations, and more. When I finally started asking real deal questions, I'd been talking to him for 5 minutes or more.
 
We touched on how he met up with Timbaland, whether he expected the negative backlash to his new solo album "Scream" and the back story to current single "Long Gone" before Cornell's security detail told me to wrap up.

This girl is doing a photo shoot at the olympic Fountain in the Gateway and decided to start running through the fountain like so many little kids do here. It's was pretty funny hearing her screaming, just like the little ones. And she's actually pretty hot, too. Living downtown I see random photo shoots all the time, but this one was different than the others. It actually caught my attention.
